Anatoly D. Lukashenok was born in 1946 in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. In 1966 he graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk State Art School. In 1970 he entered the Ilya Repin Leningrad Institute for Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (Academy of Arts of the USSR), which has successfully graduated in 1976. Since 1977 for 1980 he worked in creative workshop under the guidance of the professor V. Oreshnikov. In 1981 A. Lukashenok is invited to teaching work in Faculty of Architecture in Academy of Arts. Currently he is Professor of Art and chair of the Drawing Department of Repin St. Petersburg State Academic Institute for Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Since 1981 he is a member of the Union of Artists of USSR/Russia, permanent participant of national and international exhibitions.
